Unfortunately, a motion based simulator can't be built of a cardboard box and probably not by an 8 year old. The starting point is a platform mounted on triangulated hydraulic cylinders so that any portion of the platform may be lifted dropped or partially rotated. The computers controlling the attitude are programmed so that the visual images presented are reinforced by the action of the platform – for example a smooth motion in rotation that is stopped abruptly will, with the right visual clues, be taken as the opposite rotation even though the platform is not moving.
It can be faked or only carried out in minimal action with levers under the platform that are shoved by burly men as is done in TV shows for space, aircraft, and naval action.

The authority that would have the plans on file is the county tax supervisor. They have a process for obtaining plans, but nowadays your request would be considered highly suspect, and you would probably be denied.

They might let you have them, but you would have to fill out some pretty detailed information about yourself and your reasons. And the fee runs around $15 per page nowadays.

The cost of a house or a pool depends a great deal on the size and type. You may actually pay more for a pool when you are building a house if the general contractor is responsible for getting the pool built. He will probably add a fee to the cost from the pool contractor.

You need to decide on a house floor plan and other details and then get prices from various qualified contractors to know what your house is going to cost.

In general, houses in the $150,000 range don't have pools. The owners usually put their money into the cost of the house. Also you really don't want to be paying for a pool over the life of your mortgage. That is a lot of interest.

My guess is you can get a 1200 to 1800 square foot house for $150,000.

Yes it is. How big it needs to be depends on how much you need it to make. The larger the more profit. However the larger it is the more upfront cost and if it is large enough, the more help you will need.

Salvage yards are a great resource. Almost every city has some type of salvage yard that specializes in doors, windows and fixtures.

My brother in law lucked up and found some great old school doors with etched glass numbers on them every door is different but it adds to the charm of their cabin.

If you can get away and go to Brimfield, MA http://www.brimfield.com/
Huge array of stuff. Find a dealer that has tons of doors or windows and make him/her a cash deal.

These older pieces are usually of solid wood and built a million times better than some of the stuff on the market today.

There are tile outlets all over the place as well. We have a great flooring place here in Atlanta called Floor and Decor.

I bought some 16" slate tiles for a little over a dollar a piece, home depot wanted over two dollars each.

Is there any old barns or buildings on your 200 acres? If so have that wood recycled and planed down if it is warped and use that for flooring, siding or roofing. It will give you that true rustic feeling.

    Good Luck!

Tower Bridge (the one that opens in the middle) is insured by Lloyd's of London on the shipping register as a ship.

1). You will alter the environment.
I.E more transport routes around the area, an increase in the density of roads, rubbish sites etc in that areas. Endangerment of animals natural habit. Just like around any city.

2). Longer travel times to work, to go shopping etc.

3). May spoilt the countryside of Beijing.

As for advantages of a water reservoir outside Beijing or any other town.

In case of flooding damage maybe limited just to the countryside and not residential areas.

In a city a reservoir could suffer more from pollution, so having it away from the city is better.

Depends a great deal on the complexity of the building. A two storey hospital could take much longer than a 20 storey simple structure office block.

If it's a very simple structure then it's quite slow progress but if it's a complicated structure with varying design elements, complicated services, high standard of finishes then it's not a long time.

If the client has made very specific or unusual requests this can seriosuly slow down construction.

Budget can play a part – if budget isn't so much of a problem then you can hire in several tower cranes, lots of plant and workers and get the job moving quickly.

Did the 12 months include site preparation as this can take a long time? The ground might need decontaminating, consolidating, there may be complex foundations.

Start with a Feasibilty study. Will the proposed rents cover the debt & costs of doing business? What will the absorption rate be, how long will it take to rent up the building? Does your proposed project make sense in the area you're targeting? etc etc etc….

No it is not recommended to fill the pond with rocks as it makes normal cleaning difficult. I have had my pond for almost 9 years now and the liner is still good. If you want the look of rocks in the pond, they make liner material that is gray with a pebble pattern. It's best to use liner made for ponds as the surface is ideal for microorganism growth which keeps the pond healthy. Make sure to not build it in direct sun, it needs a good amound of shade to keep algae from taking over.

I searched the New York Times archive site, yet did not find anything. I suspect you might need more information, such as the city or county. Here is the link to the New York Times archive site: http://query.nytimes.com/search/query?srchst=nyt&&srcht=a&srchr=n/ Click on the tab that indicates the time interval appropriate for your question. If you get a "hit", you may see a few lines of the article, but will have to pay to receive the entire article. I also checked another newspaper archive site, link: http://www.newspaperarchive.com/Default.aspx however it is not free. Sorry I wasn't able to be of more help.

I would build a rectangle box using your reclaimed 2x lumber, 18" deep and X" wide with joists every 16" across attach this to your fence at 16.5" high using lag screws at the posts. Drop down legs on the outer corners and every 4' as needed. Then add your top boards for the seat. Make sure you place the legs on a cement block or pad of some sort to keep it out of the dirt. Enjoy you should be able to make this as long or short as you wish.
